Keep in mind that you should take care of yourself as well. Your character is handled like a real person, you need to take care of your basic needs including eating, drinking, sleeping, de-stressing, hygiene, and using the restroom. If any of these problems are ignored for too long, it will result in permadeath. If that happens, you’ll lose your progress and restart everything.

However, there are hundreds of things to do in this game and that’s not an exaggeration. It is very meticulous and demanding most of the time. This isn’t your typical car-building game where you search for parts and just slap them on. It simulates real-life situations and you need to build everything from scratch with all the bolts and screws which means it is very time-consuming and stressful.

Good but not great

Keep in mind that even though My Summer Car looks fun, it is not for the faint-hearted. You’ll need tons of patience to even get through building one part of the car, and that would sometimes take hours or days to finish.
